Ryan Moran over at Etycoon has been doing some great free content. I believe you need to signup for the site in order to see the full articles, but it’s free so don’t hesitate.

This particular article is about a School Grants Adsense site that just sold on Flippa.com for $80,000 several weeks ago. The site was monetized only with Adsense and making quite a bit of money. This just goes to show that what I was talking about in my adsense masters course + 3 way links post really does work. Adsense can bring in a lot of money.

Anyways, there is an extensive audio interview with the creator of the website where he goes into great detail about how he created and monetized the site. Articles like this one are what you should be looking for, reading, and listening to in order to really improve your game.

There is a shocking new trend in the Internet Marketing world now days and it’s driving me to drink. That trend is the new $997 price tag on Affiliate Marketing training products. Where do these product creators get off charging people an arm and a leg when the economy is falling apart? People are out of work and struggling to pay for groceries. The argument they will make is that it is your money and if you want to spend it on their products that’s not their fault.

Well thats BS. These so called “Guru’s” make unimaginable claims to millions of dollars in profits and make it out like if you just spend your last $997, then so will you. I’ve got news for you folks. It won’t happen like that. You want to know why they will let you look over their shoulder, copy their campaigns, and see “exactly what they do” to make MILLIONS a year in affiliate sales? BECAUSE THOSE CAMPAIGNS ARE OLD and not making money for them anymore.

They do make millions, but that’s not profit. Pay close attention when you watch their videos and you will notice they never use the word PROFIT in relation to the millions of dollars they claim. They say, millions of dollars in affiliate SALES. That’s because they don’t want you to realize that a large portion of those sales was due to a considerable ad spend.

Now don’t get me wrong, many of them do make several hundred thousand dollars a year profit, but these are the best in the industry, and they do it by SELLING YOU $997 CLASSES!

Starting today I am going to work together with the community, with any internet marketers who will join my bandwagon, and I am going to try and develop a legitimate training site, one that contains as much fundamental knowledge as possible to train you how to make your OWN techniques and “million dollar secrets”. I am tired of seeing people suckered in and dropping $997 on old and warn out campaigns with the promise of $millions of dollars while you eat ice cream and sleep on your couch. ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

Where do these people get the balls to do this? I remember 3 or 4 years ago when I started in Internet Marketing, the $47 price tag seemed insane. Then it was the $77 price tag, and then even $97. After that they jumped up to $197 for the really hardcore “Guru” stuff, and now $997? Where does it end? I wouldn’t be surprised if the next Mark Ling or Mike Filsaime product came out at a price of $1497.

Listen. Don’t buy them! DO NOT BUY this crap. Read my top 5 SEO blogs, scour the internet for free stuff, there is a lot of great training out there. $997 is too much and you can use that money to build your first website, get some articles made, get some backlinks, and actually make some money.

Ok, anyways, I just needed to blow off some steam and warn everyone. This whole thing is getting out of hand. Don’t fall victim to their promises or ridiculous price tags.

Today I was visiting my standard run of SEO blogs to see what was new and I ran across this great article. I found the link on SEO Book but apparently it goes to a site called PPCBlog.com which I hadn’t seen before. Bottom line: This is a great, informative free article to read on PPC and explains a lot of the key concepts.

I am working on compiling a list of free resources to use in order to learn the various aspects of Internet Marketing and this one will definitely be added to the list. I HIGHLY recommend you read all the way through. I know it is somewhat long for a blog post, but it’s very well written and has a lot of great information!

Google Adwords has been the de facto advertising platform for the majority of Internet Marketers since Day 1. It offers the best user interface, the most overall exposure, but has a few serious shortcomings that might cause an opening to exist for a few key competitors.

Now, he has a new program he has been working on. It’s called Etycoon and much of his writing has been posted on Flippa.com as of late.

His new program involves building virtual equity and Assets, but he constantly posts free interviews, videos, and articles on his main page that are VERY interesting reads. This isn’t some kind of affiliate deal, I gain nothing from you visiting his site, but in the good spirit of honestly trying to help those of you that have stuck by me, I definitely recommend you check it out.

Hey Everyone, did you read my last post? If so, you already know that I have been testing out an adsense based network of sites to help expand my portfolio. My adsense based sites that I mentioned previously are still consistently earning anywhere from $1-$5 a day depending on the niche and keywords.

This system is really unbelievable. It’s fairly easy to do, costs a minimal amount up front, and consistently earns over the long haul with very little work. While it still isn’t a get rich quick (it requires a HUGE number of sites to reach a substantial income), it is a real autopilot type system. You can use the same technique every time and if you have picked your keywords correctly, you WILL end up making money.

The idea is to build a ton of adsense based sites for keywords that are low competition, moderate search volume. You then rank these sites in Google and make $2-$3 each per day. Initially you are going to be spending money on a re-seller hosting account and domains, but after a couple months, when the sites start making $3 a day, they will easily be paying for themselves as well as your future additions.

The reason I am posting about this again is because I have found that combining my Adsense sites with another useful program I am a member of, I have seen AWESOME results. My sites are getting ranked without having to write a bunch of articles and I am pretty sure, because of the way this system works, they will keep their rankings long term. That system is 3WayLinks by Jonathan Leger.

3WayLinks allows you to continuously get untraceable links to your site from a system that builds over time and looks natural to Google. Previously I was writing articles and submitting them to get my adsense sites, but using 3WayLinks, I am getting the same results without all of the legwork. Now I just do the research, build the site, load up 3WayLinks and then move on to the next site (I am still doing 5 initial articles).

This system is awesome and is a really nice addition to anyones affiliate business portfolio. It is always good to be diverse and to spread out where your income is generated. This has allowed me to set up a whole separate, consistent, network of smaller sites, that when put together, will eventually be making me anywhere from $3000-$5000 a month by the time I am finished. I plan on making 30-50 sites depending on how bored I get.  =)

I use a lot of different tactics when creating my online empire. Many of my sites are simple adsense blogs or mini-sites. There is a distinct process that I use in order to make these sites and it is something I have been tinkering around with a lot as of late. The system is actually rather simple and applies many of the concepts you are already learning if you’ve read my modules.

I actually learned this system from a guy on the Warrior Forum who goes by the name XFactor. He developed an ebook called Adsense Masters Course that is something like 92 or 93 pages, which breaks down every single step he takes when building his adsense sites (he currently makes over $300 a day from his adsense network). This guy is easily the best Adsense guru I have met and really knows his stuff.

I bought his book about 2 months ago and have been testing out a lot of the material that he presents. I have created 10 adsense sites to test his system in total. To date, I have had the following results :

Site 1 : $1-$4 a day

Site 2 : $2-$3 a day

Site 3 : $0.50-$1 a day

Site 4 : $4 – $9 a day

Site 5 : $1 – $3 a day

The other five are along those same lines, anywhere from $0.50 all the way up to $9 or $10 a day per site. The amazing part of his method is that it really only takes a couple days worth of work to get each site up and ready to go. Literally, all of those results are from the first 3 days or so and I haven’t touched them since.

I am currently making anywhere from $30 – $50 a day off of these adsense sites. Some of them hit with better earnings and some less so, but its all related to niche selection which he goes over in the course as well. I know this is a little more work than most methods because you are setting up a lot of sites, but honestly, I feel like this system has some legs and i’m going to continue working on it. I think I am going to do another 10 – 20 sites and see if I can continue to get the same results.

This was a website I ran across while I was looking for a video template to use for a new project I am working on. These templates are actually really nice! I had seen this package somewhere else but without all of the extra bonus content. This is a really nice compilation and if you goto the site and look at the sample images of the template designs, you’ll see what I mean. Video is the hot new thing when it comes to sales and squeeze pages, and these should be perfect for a lot of you out there. I have only had a few minutes to look at the templates but they seem really easy to customize as well. Really looking forward to getting into these a little bit more.

Before I start, be warned, I am going to be posting an affiliate link in this post (hey, I gotta get paid somehow). I like this product, I use it, and I think you should to. Ok, now with that out in the open, let’s get on with the show!

What is Twitter?

Most of you have probably heard of twitter. It’s a micro-blogging community that lets you type out 140 word messages to all your “followers”, basically subscribers. You may already use it for your everyday ramblings to your friends, but what you may not realize is this; Twitter is an AWESOME marketing tool. You can use twitter to create an extensive list of followers that you can then contact any time you want to, even multiple times in one day.

While I am fairly new to the whole twitter craze, I already have over 800 followers on my twitter account. Go check out my twitter for proof. So how do we use a twitter account to make money through affiliate marketing? The same way we do with email marketing, only much, much easier!

Bye Bye Email Marketing!

Email marketing has been around for a long time and has been one of the most important parts of any campaign. By building an email list, you retain your site visitors, even once they leave. The problem is, getting a compelling email opt-in box and a worthwhile bonus item to convince people to sign up, can be out of the reach of many new marketers. This is why I love twitter so much!

First off, twitter is completely free to set up. If you make a twitter account and start posting about marketing, it doesn’t cost you a cent. You probably aren’t going to have a decent number of followers unless you already have a well established website, but you might get a few random followers here and there. The goal however, is to get TONS of followers. I know this seems like common sense, but you would be amazed at the number of people who aren’t utilizing twitter in their marketing campaigns.

Once you have lots of followers, you can “tweet” about the different posts to your blog, programs your promoting, or about new projects to build hype for a launch. The hardest part is actually getting followers. But, I have found a piece of software that is AMAZING. Remember back in the beginning when I said I have 800 followers? Did you check out my twitter? If not, here it is again Colexi (that’s my business) Twitter. I did it by using Brute Force SEO – Twitter Smackdown.

Give Twitter a Smackdown!

Twitter Smackdown is a piece of software by Pete Drew. If you haven’t heard of him, he’s an internet marketer from Australia who has a whole team of programmers that are constantly working to create great new products like this one. Twitter Smackdown works in the background while you go about your business, adding followers to your twitter account based on a keyword you specify. The funny thing about twitter is, when you add people to your account as followers, about 60%  of them add you back! For instance, I used the keyword “SEO” and let Twtitter Smackdown run in the background while I watched a movie. By the time I finished the movie (a little over 2 hours), I had 41 new followers. That’s 41 more people I can reach on a daily basis and send my affiliate links to, and all I did was watch a movie!

Now I can reach over 800 people with one simple message. If you ask me, email marketing is old school. You need to get with the times and get on twitter. If you are already on Twitter but you are still working with a small list, get Twitter Smackdown now. While your at it, follow me on twitter for up to date info about what i’m up to.   =)

Hey Everyone!

You may have noticed that i’ve been adding some blog posts, but have yet to get around to any new training. Well, theres a reason for it, and let me explain so your all on board with me. I hate when webmasters promise me something and leave me in the dark as to the status.

I was originally planning on creating an ebook and selling it for like $47 or $67 like everyone else, because it’s taking me a LONG time to write all this information out and create this training. But as I was writing it I remembered why I started this page in the first place.

I’m sick of paying people money. I bet you are too! I must have purchased 100 different ebooks in my first year and honestly, most of what I learned I just learned from trial and error. All those secret systems? They dont work, take my word for it. So i’ve decided to get back on track with the whole free train and prioritize differently.

This doesn’t mean I won’t ever release an ebook with my secrets and possibly a case study, but it means I want this site to be better first, rather than somewhere down the road. All of that being said, this leads me to my main point of this post.

We’re Under Construction! I originally built this site to focus on newcomers to the World of Warcraft Niche, so that I could help them get started in affiliate marketing. The problem is, I underestimated my abilities. I am now ranking first page in google for affiliate marketing training and affiliate training (with a little bit of a google dance thrown in). This led me to the decision to branch out and make this site a more legitimate affiliate training site for EVERYONE.

I am currently ranking right along with affilorama and wealthy affiliate. This is exciting for all of us here at Warcraft Affiliates because it means extra exposure. I am still having trouble getting people to get on the forums. Please head over and introduce yourself. This site is going to be around for the long haul and hopefully we can build a helpful community.

Bottom line is this. The site is going to look different, its going to offer lots more training in the coming month or two, and hopefully, with help from the community, it can grow into a real, honest to God, F-R-E-E source of affiliate training. All the others on the first page of Google are either affiliate program review sites or cost $30 a month or MORE.

We won’t. Period. I’ll take donations, and post an affiliate link here or there to try and pay for the site, but other than that, let’s make this the best free affiliate training resource we can.
