Module 4 : What You Should Sell
What should you sell?
Sometimes, one of the hardest parts of affiliate marketing is finding a niche and then finding products within that niche that convert well. Let me explain a little bit about what I mean.
A niche is the specific industry you are working in. In our case, that part is simple to figure out. We are going to be using the World of Warcraft niche. There are hundreds of other niches out there that you can sell products for using the skills you are going to learn here. However, I want you to focus on only the one niche for now. It makes things easier.
Once you have a niche, you have to select a product, and we discussed how to read the clickbank marketplace in our last module. Even then however, a product that looks good, still may not convert once you actually create your campaigns. So finding products that make sales, have a low refund rate, and good customer satisfaction, can take time and several blown campaigns. That is why I am going to tell you which WoW Guides you need to be selling. So here is our list :
Leveling Guides
- Zygor Guides – Zygor has the #1 leveling guide in my opinion. I ACTUALLY play WoW, and I also actually BUY every guide I recommend. Having used them all, Zygor’s is the easiest to use, has the best layout, and no grinding. This to me is a no brainer. It also converts well, and my refund rate is way less than 1%. This is the leveling guide you should be pushing.
- Dugi’s Ultimate WoW Guide - A lot of people would argue my first selection in favor of Dugi’s. Why? Not because he is best, but rather, because he offers the highest payouts (75%), has a leveling guide, gold guide, dailies guide, and a forthcoming auction domination guide. This allows him to sell a package that offers a huge commission, or gives you the opportunity for upsells, that is, someone buying another guide after the first one if they are happy. Dugi’s sells very well and has very few returns. It is also a great guide to sell.
- Team iDemise Leveling Guide – At one point, Team iDemise had the best guide on the market. They had the first in game guide, and also still probably have the fastest method. The only downside is that I don’t think the interface is quite as sharp as Zygor’s. Other than that, it’s a solid guide. I don’t push it as hard as the other 2, but you need 3 guides to push for a review site anyways so I like to include iDemise.
Gold Guides
- Gold Secret’s – This is Luke’s guide and along with Valkor, was one of the first guides on the market. The difference is, Luke has constantly improved his sales page, and kept his guide current, to make it one of the best guides on the market. He offers high commissions, has a high gravity, and a low refund rate. That makes this guide a no brainer.
- Hayden’s Gold Guide – This guide is new on the market, but has a solid sales page. First off it’s the only female voice, second she has a nice video proof of gold, and lastly, the copy on the page is good. I’m currently looking at testing this one out now, but I can already tell you that it looks solid.
- Dugi’s Ultimate Guides – Yeah, that’s right, Dugi is back on the list. Usually in a review site you are going to push 3 products. Dugi has a gold guide as well, it is pretty good, and it pays well with low refunds. I would use him again here. His versatility is the reason so many people push his products.
Other Guides
- PvP Bible – One of the only PvP guides on the market. These guides don’t necessarily sell as well, but they can sometimes be good for variety. You might sell a couple each month and that’s just extra money.
- Warcraft Formula – I love this guide for 1 reason only; it’s got recurring billing. What does that mean? It means you get paid every month. I have been promoting this guide like crazy. You get $8 a month until they cancel their subscription. I have found that most of my sales, have stuck with the guide at LEAST 5 months so far, of 30 or 40 sales, I have had only probably 5 people cancel. That is an extra $250 a month, and if you sell that many next month as well, then the second month its $500, and so on. I like recurring billing.
Ok, those are the guides I want you to focus on selling. They have all proven to have great conversions, low refunds, and they actually SELL. I know this from experience and that is why I am recommending them. I am also picking these guides because I have purchased them, and personally feel they offer the best value.
